Science 9 deepens learners’ understanding of biological systems, chemical interactions, physical laws, and Earth processes through an integrative and inquiry-based approach. The course emphasizes the interconnectedness of science, technology, society, and the environment (STSE), fostering critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and scientific literacy.
Science 10 builds on foundational concepts to explore deeper connections between matter, energy, life systems, and Earth processes. Learners investigate plate tectonics, chemical reactions, biomolecules, genetics, and energy transformations through inquiry-based and contextual learning. The course emphasizes scientific literacy, environmental awareness, and responsible decision-making in everyday life.
This three (3) unit course introduces the students to Liturgy through which “the work of our redemption is accomplished” (SC 2) and wherein “the faithful are enabled to express in their lives and manifest to others the mystery of Christ and the real nature of the true Church.” (SC 2) Furthermore, the course presents the Seven Sacraments in view of PCP II’s two new emphases on the Seven Ritual Sacraments as grounded directly in both Christ- the Primordial Sacrament and the Church as the basic or Fundamental Sacrament and drawing the Sacraments closer to everyday life especially by recognizing the essential role of symbol in all human life. This three-unit course on the CAT 101 introduces the background of the basic things we need to know as Paulinian. The learners will be made aware of the basic prayers that we are using in our day to day living. This course will equip the learners with the necessary knowledge of all the books in the Bible. And they are able to respond to the call of our society as they demonstrate their learnings in their day-to-day life as a Paulinian. It informs them of their duty to know the basic of their faith specifically the prayers. This will let them explain clearly by their own the different sacraments that we have in the catholic teaching.
